Fractions look like division problems on the TI83. It will NOT display mixed fractions, nor will it allow denominators more than 4 digits
To have the calculator display and answer as a fraction, use the math key
1. Enter a calculation
(Don't forget the order of
operations)
2. Press MATH-1 (or
MATH-ENTER): 
and ENTER to see the answer.
It is in improper
fraction form, and in lowest terms.
